What can CUAllies do if its not recognized?
We are still able to use space on campus, when it has not been reserved by recognized groups. We routinely meet with members of the University administration to advocate on behalf of the needs of GLBTQ students and their allies. While the University does adamantly refuse to recognize CUAllies, we remain determined to promote and maintain a positive and productive dialogue between the group and the University. We see any animosity between the group and the University as counterproductive and contrary to the goal of the group to create a safe, welcoming, and affirming environment for all students, regardless of sexual orientation.
