What can cause acidic pH?
Your system can become acidic from an acid-rich diet, from toxic overload, from emotional stress, from immune reactions and/or any process that starves your body cells of oxygen and other nutrients. Your body will try to compensate by using up existing alkaline minerals; but if your diet does not contain sufficient minerals to compensate, acidic build-up takes place in the bodys cells. Self-test your pH! There is a simple pH self-test (using inexpensive litmus paper, available from health food or drug stores), which can quickly tell you whether or not your system is acidic or alkaline.
