What can be done to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour locally?
As your councillor, I’ll campaign for more youth clubs run by people who are mentoring them, as well as running leisure activities. Young people need to be engaged in positive activities. I’ll demand cleaner streets with more bins, including for recyclables. And I want to see community projects to renew our gardens and parks. If as a community we work together on this we will create a positive system of accountability which will tackle crime at the roots. 4) What can be done to improve transport links to the area? As councillor I will press for more regular DLR services between Woolwich Arsenal and Canning Town (this is the main interchange). If a shuttle service were to run during peak hours it would ease the morning congestion and DLR trains could turn around easily at Canning Town. I see a good case for using transport along the river Thames and will make sure this gets looked into. And I want to see something done about the car parking problem. 5) What are your views on the planned
