What can be done to keep natural gas bills as low as possible?
PG&E is working to help customers cope with high national gas prices. PG&E has a number of programs to help its customers reduce their natural gas use, including public education to encourage conservation and a wide variety of rebates encouraging the purchase of energy efficient appliances and products. Since much of California’s electricity is generated by burning natural gas, cutting electric use has an added benefit of reducing demand for natural gas as well.
