It is imperative that prophets when ministering distinguish to their audience if knowledge they obtained about a person came through a source other than the Holy Spirit. There is a temptation for prophets to take information they received about someone from another person and prophesy as if they received that information supernaturally. This practice makes the prophet look spectacular in the eyes of the people, but is a deception. A prophet who operates in this realm of deception will eventually get caught and it will serve to discredit them.
