What can be done if there is insufficient perfusion of aqueous humour at the trabeculo-descemets membrane?
This is probably due to a lack of depth of the surgical dissection. Once the dissection is taken fully to Descemet’s membrane, adequate flow will result. An option exists to perform an Nd: YAG goniopuncture, aiming the beam at the trabeculo-descemet’s membrane on either side of the AquaFlow anterior in the window as far as possible. The use of a magnifying gonioscopy lens aids in visualizing the site.
