What can be done if the unit is not blowing cold air?
• Confirm that the air conditioner is set to cool mode. • Close any open doors or windows, and ensure furniture or curtains do not block airflow from the unit. • Ensure that the unit is not installed near a heat source. For maximum cooling efficiency it is best if the air conditioner be installed in a shady area and away from electronics or items in the home that generate heat. • Confirm that the air conditioner is sized appropriately for the square footage of the room. • Ensure the air conditioner is powered by a dedicated circuit breaker. If the air conditioner is not, this will cause the unit to appear to start to operate normally, but when the compressor is activated the breaker may trip.
