What can be done about noise from barking dogs?
It is quite reasonable for a dog to bark to warn its owner of strange visitors but it is not reasonable if a dog barks at the slightest disturbance or because it is left alone for long periods. If you own a dog, please try to make sure your dog does not cause a problem.If you are affected by noise from barking, you could try and see the owner and discuss the problem with them. It may be possible to change the dog’s routine or train it not to bark. If this does not work or you feel unable to contact the dog owner then talk to us and we will investigate the problem.
