What can be done about discomfort in hot, sticky weather?

To prevent thigh chafing, you can wear clothing that covers your thighs, such as: * split slips (also called petti-pants, culotte slips, bloomers, or pantaloons), * cotton or lycra bicycle shorts (split slips tend to be lighter than bicycle shorts), * cotton leggings, * cotton tricot drawers (underwear with long legs), * anti-chafe shields (elastic bands that go around the waist, upper and lower thighs, and have a cotton shield attached to protect the inner thighs).
