(Part 91 Operators do not normally have to grant access upon a mere verbal request). • Permit an FAA inspection of aviation records if you are running a commercial aviation business under the authority of an FAA License. If any FAA, NTSB or Law Enforcement Officer demands more from you verbally, politely refuse, until you have had an opportunity to check with an aviation lawyer – be VERY careful about giving statements.
