What can a prosthetic hand do?
Imagine that your hand is paralyzed with Novacaine. Today’s baic prosthetic hands are a lot like that, but we do know how to make the fingers move simply by thinking about it! This is not yet in general usage yet, though. Robotics is one of the fastest growing fields in the United States, so expect them to even have tactile feedback feedback by 2015 (we are already doing this in the lab).
