What can a BOSS PS-5 do (with an expression pedal) that a Digitech Whammy can do?

Besides the fact that the PS-5 comes with 2 wet outputs there is nothing on the PS-5 that the Whammy can’t do, now if we turn the table around there are very useful functions on the Whammy that the boss won’t be able to achieve, MIDI controllability is one of them, my entire rig is controlled via MIDI (including my 2 amps channel switching) and every time I change a patch the whammy not only loads a preset of my choice but also a pre determined pedal position in case I want to make the preset more unique, also the harmony section of the Whammy is more complete, the whammy in my opinion sounds a little better and is more user friendly and last it comes with the pedal built in, so no extra cables or devices on your board. However this depends on the user, if the differences are minor for you then BOSS is a great choice, at the end (and getting to the basic point) they both do the same and they do it very good indeed. Hope this helped. Daniel.
