What “buzzwords” should look out for when buying skin care products for my dry skin?
For dry, sensitive skin, try reaching for products that say “moisturizing” and stay away from “oil-free” and alcohol-induced products,as they dry out already dry skin. Thick, creamy cleansers are best, because they hydrate the surface without stripping it of natural oils. Also, try fragrance free products, as they are less irritating. To save money, try buying tiny, travel sized products to try out. Since there are so many products out there, a dermatologist or skin specialist (at any spa, usually) can evaluate your skin for you and head you in the right direction!! Hope this helped–good luck!! Oh, and be sure to drink at least 6 classes of water each day to ensure plumper skin cells, and a smoother complexion!!
