What bullets are available for reloading?
The bore diameter of 6.8SPC is .277″, the same as the popular .270 Winchester. Since the maximum cartridge OAL is pretty short and case capacity is limited, short bullets are preferred. The likely weight range of bullets is 90gr – 120gr. The 110gr Hornady VMAX shoots really well. Barnes has just announced a new 6.8SPC 110gr Triple-X bullet. There are currently no 115gr bullets available commercially.
