Thawte SSL certificates are compatible with all recent browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x and Netscape Communicator 4.x. Thawte maintains a browser compatibility list here. More than 90% of the web browsers in use today will accept a Thawte certificate as proof of a web site’s identity. Older browsers (in particular Navigator 3.x) may need a quick adjustment to the root rollover before they connect cleanly.
