What British cities were attacked by the V1 flying bombs and the V2 rockets?
Many cities were attacked including Manchester (aircraft lauched V1 attack) and many towns along the Thames estuary as well as the Yorkshire Lincolnshire Coast. London as you ndicate was the main target – this was revenge rather than any military justification. The south and east were the worst affected (the notional target was Tower Bridge) – Ilford for example was particuarly badly affected.
