Well said Angie!! You and your comfort are not important in all of this right now, your baby’s health is!! I was 38 weeks pregnant (and carrying an extra 3 and a half stone) in the heatwave of Summer 2003 with my second son, which was an absolute nightmare and the most discomfort i have ever felt, but nothing would have made me bring on labour just to rid myself of it!! Oh, and my first son was born at 36 weeks and 6 days and he STILL had to spend 9 days in Special Care due to breathing difficulties – there is a reason why the average pregnancy is 40 weeks.
