What BrightStor settings does ArcLog Distiller Enterprise require?
Properly configuring ArcLog Distiller Enterprise to use the activity log guarantees the greatest accuracy in data collection, and therefore in reported information. The activity log should be configured as described below: Message type in Activity Log must be set to Notes, Warnings and Errors • From BrightStor® Server Admin, click on the JOB tab. • Click the red Stop Engine icon, Click the (gears) Configure icon. • Set the “Message Type in Activity Log” to Notes, Warnings and Errors. • Click OK Click the green Start Engine icon. The log output must be set to summary. This is set on the Log tab of the Options dialog for an operation. It is often the default setting, so there may be no need to set it every time. ArcLog Distiller Enterprise may work when all activity is selected for logging, but it was not designed to work with that setting.
