What breeds can do search and rescue work?
German Shepherd Dogs and Labrador Retrievers tend to dominate search work, but other breeds work equally as well ranging from Rough Coated Collies, Border Collies, Bloodhounds, to mixed breeds. Generally dogs from the working, sporting, or herding breeds are preferred for their size and temperaments.
