What breed of rabbit can guinea pigs share with?
Rabbits definately not. Guine apigs shoudl never be housed with rabbits . . . ever. Even the smallest rabbit, is a lot bigger and stronger than a guine apig. If a rabbits gets distressed or angry, one well placed kick coudl kill or seriously injure a guinea pig. Despite what you’ve seen and heard, rabbits and guinea pigs are a completely different species. They cannot communicate with each other, rabbit communicate with each other largely through movements, guinea pigs don;t do this, they communicate through a series of squeaks and grunts and are a much more vocal species. So yeah, another piggie would be best. I would recommend you wait a little befor eyou get another cavy. Let him come to terms with the fact that his friend is gone, and let him get settled again before putting another guinea pig in with him.
