What breed of horses would you trim?
Basically, you don’t have to really trim horses unless you go to shows. There are some breeds, such as the Friesian, that should NOT be trimmed at all. The Arabian should have a long bridlepath, but mane and tail should not be trimmed. With any horse, however, you can trim their whiskers and lond hairs around their faces, but there are some rules in 4H about trimming. Horses don’t need to be trimmed unless they go to a competition, as the long hair around their faces helps them find out what is going on and the hair on their legs protects them against mud and debris.
