What breed of cattle are used?

A. Some ranch locations require moderate sized, athletic range cows that thrive in large rangeland pastures with sometimes difficult terrain. Other pastures are irrigated, usually smaller and easier terrain. We are not breed specific, but very much type specific. Our ranchers’ cow herds are British based, i.e. Angus, Hereford and Shorthorns and crosses of those breeds. Some herds have infusions of Charolais, Simmental and Tarentaise.
