What Breed is a Good Watchdog??
My parents had a german sheppard cross doberman he was a great family dog but also a very good guard dog.I had a german Shepherd she was a great guard dog went mad if someone tried to get in but she was very good with my kids they would climb all over her and she just let them.I would never say a rotti as they can be very temperamental.
Rottweiler the best i have one that really protects my family and they are a real companion and really loyal it is my first choice other good watch dogs Doberman my cousin use to have one and any intruder that got near his fence bark bark bark it would be my second choice also the German Shepherd good for barking a true friend and very loyal it would be my third choice these three dogs were meant for guarding but choose the Rott a gentle Giant
