The Speedo® brand of speedos is probably most prevalently worn by blokes in Australia, though brands such as Rival, Tyr and Spank have gained numbers through their sponsoring of surf clubs, swimming teams and water polo teams. The traditional Speedo® speedos (often bearing the SPEEDO logo on the seat) tend to have 3 inch or 2 inch sides, while the Speedo® Endurance line (made with chlorine resistant material) are available with 3, 2 or 1.5 inch sides. Rival, Tyr and Spank speedos tend to have 3 or 2 inch sides.
