What brand/color of paint is best for repainting an older Coleman stove?

Rustoleum sells a high temp paint that is good to 1200F, but it still says not to paint surfaces that will be near open flame (not while painting obviously), or come into contact with food. The painted surface of your model stove (I looked it up) is well away from the flame of the burners, and not used as a food surface. If it were me, I would buy a can, paint a piece of metal and stand it next to the inside of your stove, light the burner on that side, and see what happens. If it bursts into flame (highly doubtful), or discolors or bubbles, then don’t paint the stove. Otherwise, go for it. They only have one color green, so you would have to paint the whole thing. I hope this helps. Sources: http://www.rustoleum.com/cbgresourcecenter.asp?
