What brand and model of digital camera do you use, and how many MegaPixels does it capture?
I am currently working with an Olympus E-1 system a professional D-SLR camera that captures about 5-MegaPixel images with dimensions of 2560 x 1920. Although this is a fairly small pixel area by professional standards, it is more than adequate for most jobs. Much more important considerations are image quality and versatility, where the Olympus camera system holds its own against any of the high-end D-SLR cameras in every aspect except for output size (see below). I use only Olympus top-of-the-line lenses, which are the very finest lenses specifically designed for digital capture. The Olympus E-1 sensor’s 4:3 aspect ratio makes the most efficient use of the available pixels for popular output formats, unlike other brands that have a sensor with the traditional 3:2 aspect ratio of 35mm film, where some of the pixel area is cropped when output to most usable sizes.
