What Books And Films Have Been Created From The Resident Evil Series?
The Resident Evil series has been adapted into a series of novels by writer S.D. Perry. The novels follow the game’s storyline faithfully, though certain details and plot directions from the games are contradicted due to the fact that some of the novels were written before the release of sequels that expanded upon the previous games’ storylines. S.D Perry has also written two original Resident Evil Novels, which are set between the events of certain games. The books include: Zero Hour (2004) The Umbrella Conspiracy (1998) Caliban Cove (1998) City Of The Dead (1999) Underworld (1999) Nemesis (2000) Code Veronica (2001) In terms of films, so far there are two that have been released: Resident Evil (2002) Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) The first two movies were heavily criticised by film critics and reaction from fans was mixed.
