What book of Jasher?
Besides pointing to Josephus, many believers also point to the “book of Jasher” as evidence documenting the evil ways of Nimrod. It is true that Scripture mentions the “Book of the Righteous” (mistranslated as “Book of Jasher”) in two verses, Joshua 10:13 (when describing the fact that the sun stood still) and 2 Samuel 1:18 (when describing that David urged the people of Judah to learn to use the bow). This Scriptural reference to the Book of the Righteous would seem to certify its credibility. However, there is a small problem with believing the Book of “Jasher”: It is a lost book!!! Besides the 2 references in the Bible, no one really knows what the Book of “Jasher” contained.
