A faculty member must register their research with the EHS Biosafety Program if their research involves the following: genetic engineering, molecular biology, or work with recombinant DNA technology; microarrays; monoclonal antibodies; toxins; select agents; infectious biological agents; human blood or tissue; primary human cells or established human cell lines.
