The most appropriate type of bike for touring our area is the hybrid tourer, a comfortable bike, more rugged than a road bike, but lighter and faster than a mountain bike. We have a large fleet of modern, quality bikes – most from the top British name Claud Butler. The bikes have easy to use gears (either 18, 21 or 24 speed) ‘quarter-rise’ handle bars (meaning a comfortable, fairly upright riding posture) and are available with ladies or gents frame.
