What bike should i get as a 1st bike after my Direct Access?
Your friend is either an idiot or doesn’t ride a bike himself. The 600 is a race bike. It’s not for a beginner at all. I’m not trying to sound like your mom, but with motorcycling, you have to learn how to be humble. You are everyone’s whipping boy on the road because you have no protection. So check your ego at the door before you get on the bike. You really need to use your head on this one. I used to work at a Harley dealership and people would come in all the time looking for a Harley for their first bike. They are just too heavy for a beginner. Word of advice, stay at 500 or smaller. 500 to 600 is a giant leap with those sport bikes. If you want the 600, save your self $10k and just buy a revolver. That way you can end your life quickly and not have to risk all that rehab as an amputee.
