What better argument is there for a Balanced Budget Amendment?
NOTE: Speaking of the Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA)… In my last column, I indicated that the House would vote on the BBA on February 26. Unfortunately — despite unanimous support by Senate Republicans — the Senate failed to pass the amendment, thanks to two freshman senators who campaigned on their support of the BBA, but broke faith with their states and the nation. At this point, a vote in the House is on hold.
