What best practices have been researched for the Graffiti Prevention Mural Program?
Staff has conducted extensive stakeholder consultation and reviewed best practices of major North American cities, including Halifax, Vancouver, New York City, and Philadelphia in the development of the Graffiti Prevention Mural Program. Consultation and research indicates that a large number of excellent mural programs are in existence, many of which could have a positive impact on culture, beautification, economic development and graffiti reduction within the City of Ottawa.
