Parents who place their child’s details on the JIL are sent a copy of the ‘Linklines’ newsletter 6 times a year. Linklines is written with the needs of the family in mind and is packed with • Grants, funding, benefits, discounts and things for free • Support groups, help lines, courses, clubs, inclusive play and leisure activities • Campaigns and consultations, where having your say will help improve things for all children with a disability • Help and advice shared between parents in the letters page We also ask if you would like to receive a copy of Pinpoint, the guide to services for children with a disability and how you would like future copies to be delivered – by post to your home address or via your child’s school. This way we can make sure we deliver your copy the right way and we can save money on duplication. Parents also know that they are giving us the information needed to help improve services for everyone in the future.
