What benefit plans are offered to State employees?
AS State Personnel offers a variety of benefit programs that can be mixed and matched to meet the specific need of most employees. The benefit programs offered include a PPO, HMO, and POS health insurance plan. PPO dental insurance, Vision, Long Term Care, and Long Term Disability insurance are offered as voluntary programs. Basic, Supplemental, Dependent life insurance, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance and an Employee Assistance Program as well as Flexible Spending Accounts are also offered as benefit options.
