We have non-negotiable expectations about the behaviour of our club members and visitors, whether they are children or adults. Adults should supervise their children during training and are responsible for their children’s behaviour. • all fencers and coaches must sign the attendance book each time they come to training • no running is permitted at any time during training (unless it part of a structured exercise directed by the club or individual’s coach) • no running is permitted at any time with weapons held in hands • no playing is permitted at any time, with weapons held in hands (especially near others not wearing a complete suit and mask.) • no hitting of weapons on hard surfaces such as floor, tables, walls • no weapons or clothing and equipment are to be removed from fencing training into any other Club Marconi space • no inappropriate bending of foils especially when cold as the metal will snap (coaches and committee members provide clear instructions on how foils can be made
