What beat boxing is all about?
Likith Achaiah: Beat boxing is creating music without any instruments. Our only tools are out mouth and microphone. In our band, Vineeth I and are beat boxers and Colin is the rapper. Vineeth PR: We never had any formal training. We learnt this stuff ourselves. When we perform we do it spontaneously. Suppose I start first, Likith waits for a moment and he too picks up the beat. Colin joins us with his rap. Colin Terence: Yes. We do everything on the spot. No prior preparation, no prior composing. These guys start a beat and I jump in with my rap. I just go with the beat. The beat is very important here. Tell me something about yourselves? LA: I am basically from Coorg and I have just finished my 12th. I want to do my graduation in engineering. I have appeared for CET exam and finished a round of counseling. Apart from beat boxing I am also into dance like flip, salsa etc. I am taking part in the International Salsa Congress Competition which will be held in August. I am with the Lourd
