Arrow International uses the UCC.EAN-128 barcode standard on its product packaging in order to satisfy a majority of our customers around the world. The UCC.EAN-128 standard utilizes a cross reference system. To obtain the product number for each specific barcode, the barcode number must be cross referenced. Customers must download the table into their scanner software. When a barcode is read, the software will see that the barcode is the UCC.EAN-128 standard and will cross reference the scanned bar code to the downloaded table to obtain the part number.
