Applicants should have a good background in probability, ordinary and partial differential equations, linear algebra and analysis. Students who started in 2009 typically came from the very top end of their cohort, for example with a First Class degree, or equivalent GPA. • You need a minimum of a 2:i or above (or equivalent) • The application procedure requires an academic transcript, 3 recommendations, cv, personal statement, English proficiency and an interview – no written work is required. • You will also need to complete our ADMISSIONS EXERCISE, which can be found here. This is a requirement of the admissions process and any application not including the admissions exercise, will be deemed incomplete. You can upload your answers on to the online application form. However, if the size of your file exceeds 2MB, please send the admissions exercise via e-mail to Graduate Admissions at graduate [dot] admissions [-at-] admin [dot] ox [dot] ac [dot] uk.
