What Auto Focus modes does the SP-510 UZ offer?

0

The SP-510 UZ supports two Auto Focus modes: Spot (default) and iESP. • iESP (default): In iESP AF mode, the camera detects the area of greatest contrast (generally, this will be the border where the subject meets the background) and focuses on that area. Even when the subject is not in the center of the frame, focusing is possible. • SPOT: In Spot AF mode, the camera uses the AF target mark displayed on the LCD to determine the subject of the photo. Position your subject in the center of the AF focus mark, and the camera will focus on the subject. • AREA: In Selective AF Target Mark mode, or Area mode, the arrow pad is used to control the position of the AF target mark. This allows the photographer to compose a shot and then move the AF target mark within the frame so that the camera will focus somewhere other than the center of the frame. Press the OK/FUNC button to fix the AF target mark once you are satisfied with its location. Press it again to move the AF target mark to a new loc
