What audio formats are accepted for the Live Music Archive?

0

The Live Music Archive accepts live concert seeds in lossless format only. Acceptable file formats consist of shorten (.shn), FLAC (.flac), and WAV (.wav). Note that MKW files (.mkw) are NOT an acceptable file format for seeding, since it’s not simple to get .mkw working on non-Windows machines. Also, lossy files are NOT allowed for seeds (.mp3 or .ogg files) – the Archive will make derivative formats on-site, providing the uploader wants them, to ensure the uniform quality of the supplemental MP3s and OGGs.
