Whilst it is impossible to provide a cast iron guarantee that anyone or anything is completely safe, you can be assured that the holder of a valid Gas Safety Passport card has successfully completed both theory and practical training relating to the safe use of gas cylinders and associated equipment. This training, combined with the individuals sign-off by their employer as being competent, means they know how to undertake work in a safe and controlled manner. The fact that an individual must complete refresher training every two years provides further assurance that they are aware of the latest rules and regulations.
