What assistance is available for students with undecided academic majors?
The University’s Gateway Center located in Mary Gates Hall, Room 171 is available to assist undecided students with issues ranging from specific course selections to decisions about academic majors. Students can drop in for assistance or schedule appointments at their convenience. In addition, workshops to assist with selecting a major are regularly offered at the Center. Students already interested in a specific department or major, however, are invited to contact the advising office of the specific department in which they are interested for additional information. Regularly scheduled workshops for prospective majors are often hosted by advisors in these areas.
