What assessment tools were used to identify priorities?
Many data sources were used, including the 1995 Boone County Community Health Assessment sponsored by the Boone County Commission, the Community Partnership and the Missouri Department of Health. Information also came from the 1995 Community Needs Assessment, conducted by Horizon Research Inc., and sponsored by the United Way, the city of Columbia and the Missouri Department of Social Services. The state health department and University Outreach and Extension provided technical support.
