What aspect in society has technology affected?
Technology and the computer has affected life in all sorts of significant ways, but nothing compared to the internet. Pre-internet the computer allowed companies to keep track off, and offer, a variety of options to their customers that were not possible when everything was done by hand. The internet has just expanded this in a plethora of ways. No doubt, new advancements will continue this relentless march.
