Residents are welcome to bring a favorite armchair, pictures, knickknacks, walking canes or aids. Small electrical items such as portable television, radio, alarm clock, small record player and razor are permitted but these items must be CSA approved and are to be checked by a qualified electrician prior to placement in the room. Electrical items such as electric blankets and heating pads are not permitted. Valuable items such as jewelry, paintings, etc. are brought in at the resident’s own risk.
