Actually, if you look on your ERB or ASK, you will see that your next duty station is Ft Hood. WH85AB is part of the AVN unit in 1CAV. Please remind spouses that they are not soldiers, and do NOT know what they are talking about. Your UIC will change after you sign into CAV, to accomodate which BN/CO needs your MOS. My best suggestion is to contact CAV, to set up assistance getting familiar with Ft Hood, and learn more about the unit and which companies have which MOSs. Heads up, when my husband and I PCSed here in ’09, we had a lot of trouble finding housing.

That looks more like an Air Force unit than an Army Unit. I was married to an Army man – 1st Armored Division, 6th Battlion/6th Unit, HHC Company in Bamberg, Germany, from 1989 to 1992. The unit disbanded in 1992 and we have since divorced in 1995. The dead give away was the AB (Air Force Base). I searched it on Yahoo! search and it’s out of Frankfurt, Germany. But you cannot access the website. Very odd.
