What areas of certification are offered at Stockton?
Stockton offers programs leading to elementary teacher certification [K-5] with middle grade specializations [5-8] and secondary teacher certifications for subjects taught in grades 6-12. Any middle school specialization requires a minimum of five subject area courses that cover multiple content standards. Choices for middle school specializations include: mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, and world language. Choices for secondary certifications include: art, biological science, chemistry, earth science, physical science, physics, mathematics, English, social studies, and world languages. Stockton also offers ESL as an add-on endorsement program for certified teachers.
