What areas are funded under the NDP?
Economic and Social Infrastructure – euro 22.4 billion This covers investment in national roads , rail, bus services, LUAS, sewerage and water services, coastal protection, energy, social and affordable housing and health. Employment And Human Resources – euro 12.7 billion This covers investment in early literacy, traveller education, refugee language support, training for companies, promotion of lifelong learning, Back to Work Schemes, equal opportunities, training for the long term unemployed, capital investment in education and training facilities, etc. Productive Sector – euro 5.8 billion. This covers investment in research and development, industry, marketing, agricultural development and fisheries.
