What area does the hot air balloon fly over?
Being situated a couple miles off the Delaware River, often times the balloon rides takes you over the Delaware into Pennsylvania. Or in the opposite direction is Merrill Creek Reservoir where you may get beautiful pictures of the balloons reflection in the water. The area of New Jersey we fly in is referred to as the Skylands. Any direction we fly, you will see the rolling hills of the Skylands, and as far as the Delaware Water Gap. On a clear day you can see both Philadelphia and New York City. Our regular launch site is at the Warren County Farmers’ Fairgrounds in Harmony Township. Just a few short minutes from our meeting place at 231 Brainards Road. The Warren County Farmers’ Fair, New Jersey, is also host to our Hot Air Balloon Festival each year.
